Just a bit of information about my illustration education~ I have 6 years of Art School Education in me with an emphasis on Graphic Design
I have done many freelance projects for people from greeting cards, illustrations for wedding gifts and birthday gifts and other side projects
I have also interned at the local Art Museum and Eco-Batik/ Urban Bird Designs ( a gallery in town devoted to greeting cards and personalized lamp shades)
I don't believe things just come your way in life, you need to work for them.

Some Random Facts About Me Would Be...
"I'm
trying to understand myself & pinpoint where i am. When I finally
get it figured out I've change the whole damn plan...I've changed my
mind so much I cant even trust it My mind changed me so much I can't

A- Art ( I have a BFA focusing on Illustration, mostly geared towards children even though I'm not really a fan of kids)
B- Baking (I love to bake, I also seem to do it when i'm upset so i guess if you see me baking approach with caution)
C- Cute (yea I said it... I'm cute! )
D-Dog lover! I owned a dog named Chippy and I loved soooo much but she unexpectedly passed away in 2011 at the age of 3... but now I have a new puppy named Gilly after the SNL sketch because she is literally out for blood!
E- Easy going ( I am pretty laid back, a go with the flow kinda gal for the most part but I am working on taking more initiative...
F- Funny? A lot of people have told me I have a great sense of humor... I won't even try to make a witty remark about that because I don't want to be THAT person... you know who you are! )
G- Grateful, I had a pretty serious car accident in 2002...Flipped my car nose to tail a few times, side swiped a phone pole & was ejected out of my passenger side window... I shattered my pelvis, broke both shoulders, and had my knee put into traction... I knew after that that even if I wouldn't make money doing it I wanted to go into Illustration and that I am here still for a reason, I love my life, I care too much about things sometimes because I know each minute is something to be cherished, I appreciate the people in my life, and I hope that I am able to make a small impact on the lives I get the privilege to be apart of.
H- Hopeful, I have a lot of hopes for the future, sometimes things don't pan out but I think having hope is really important, even if sometimes it hurts to have your hopes rearranged.
I- Imagination, I have a pretty active imagination and one of my favorite things to do with friends is come up with possible scenarios... Like what if you were reading this and suddenly you turned around and Pee Wee Herman was doing the Polka, would you join in or be like... oh Pee Wee...
J- journey... I love to go on little journeys, I love to just drive around and get lost and I love to get out of the city when I can... I usually drive down by the lake even though it's a little out of the way to my house just because I enjoy the scenery.
K- Karma... I am starting to think it's true... if you try to do good, good things will come to you.
L-Lydia, it's my name!!
M- Me time... I am finding more and more that I need a good amount of time to do my own thing... I am currently working and have two internships...It's been a bit hard finding time for everything in my life but I'm making it work.
N- Naive... I won't even try to say I'm not, I go into things with out thinking a lot of the time and sometimes I get hurt or taken advantage of in the process but I also learn a lot from doing this.
O- Open, I'm pretty open and will talk about or answer just about anything.
P- Patient- Some may see it as a flaw, but I am mega patient... I'm in no hurry most of the time and have no issues just hanging around waiting for things to get done...
Q- I'm very quirky, I have a lot of little idiosyncrasies the more people hang out with me the more they notice I am particular about certain things...
R- Restless/Restful- I like to go out and I like to stay in... I am not opposed to stay in and watch a movie and then the next second be on the way out the door to go out for a drink or ice cream... or both!
S- Sarcastic...Very much so.
T- Taster! I love to eat haha... I am working on giving up on red meat because I want to be more healthy, I also work out at the Y... But I still love to eat and go out to try new places...
U- Unique... I am the only one like me.
V- What the hell... screw you V! I honestly can't think of something to put here I keep coming to Vampire and Vagina... but don't be alarmed I do not have a vampire vagina...
W- White... I am extremely pale... I also put on gallons of sunscreen in the summer... so if you don't like pale girls... I'm not for you.
X- Xtra AWESOME!
Y- Youthful... I refer to myself as a 25 year old child sometimes not because I act like a kid but I enjoy a lot of things kids enjoy... so i guess maybe I do act like a kid... I also have a lot of bright colors in my room and cute things... But I love to play video games, board games, go mini golfing, bowling, play at the beach, and just be silly.
Z- Zzzzzzz... I like Naps.
