Who is Lydia Jean?
| HEY HEY! My Name is Lydia, i would assume you have figured that out already, being a supertastical smart person! Just a bit of news about my illustration education~ I have about 5-6 years of Art School Education in me... This Being my Final Year at the Milwaukee Institure of Art&Design! Prior to that I would constantly sketch and had 3 years of ceramics...Not sure how that would tie into anything??? I'm Eager to get started with a "real life" Illustration project~ No matter the scale! Ideally I would love to work on a children's book, a sort of adult stroy book, funny whitty but with my style of illustrations, or greeting cards! Yah... I said it. I don't believe things just come your way in life, you need to work for them, the problem is i'm a bit of a procrastinator, that leads me to the other thing i believe... In due time... Everything happens for a reason so at this point in my life I'm happy where I am and I'm content with where I'm at... Did that make any sense? Some Random Facts About Me Would Be... I Grew up outside of Green Bay,WI in Little Suamico, which then just became Suamico. In 6th Grade I moved to Lakewood,WI. I was going to be going to middle school back in Suamico but in Wabeno the grade school went to 6th grade...I was upset. Wabeno High was super small... the Jr High and the Sr High were in one building and the school held maybe...MAYBE 400-500 students i think. I currently live in Milwaukee, WI and am enjoying it and will continue to enjoy it until i'm bored with it. I've hardly left wisconsin but not by choice. I would love to travel and move to different places but things like money kinda hold those dream back! I Love movies. and my love i mean LOVE them! and I also LOVE TV, people can say what they want about it being a waste of time or a sole sucker but I learn all my useless facts from it... And I know a lot of useless stuff which I am proud of knowing! In 2002 I had a super bad car accident and flipped my car end over end... that not being sideways but nose to tail... I busted through the glass of the passenger side window... was airborn. Landed outside of the car about 20 feet away, resulting in a shattered pelvis. Broken shoulder, popped clavical, and a knee later put into traction... If i wore a seat belt I would have been dead. I had no cuts on me from breaking through the window or from the full length mirror that shattered in my back seat. I'm still Alive for a reason. I decided to go to school for illustration after that. I am doing what I love and I love what I do. |
